Developed during my 2019 Fab Asia Network tour, this workshop was designed provide exposure to a few core digital fabrication skills and utilise them to create a take home product.
The class created Vietnamese word clocks during a one day workshop that touched on electronics assembly, programming, laser cutting and basic wood working.
The Workshop was designed to prevent bottle necks in the fabrication processes involved and allow the attendees to personalise the aesthetics of their clocks, with changes to the lights and front facade.
By restricting the material cost and processes involved this workshop could be offered to a wider range of the Fab Lab’s local community.
